Welcome Fall!
It has been a very eventful summer. Both joy and sorrow abound in my life. My daughter went to a fabulous Fine Arts camp for 3 weeks and just blossomed. I am so proud to have raised a daughter with feet strong enough for her to stand on alone. It is so difficult not to try to tie her to me so that I am sure she will always be there but how grateful I am that she can venture out on her own and thrive then come home and want to share her experiences with me. Cancer has raised its shadow in both sides of my family with no real hope of a good outcome other than to teach the rest of us how fragile our lives are and to wring every ounce of fun and happiness out of life while you can. I have been having a great time creating jewelry using some of the techniques I learned during my week at Arrowmont. I met some incredible chicks who are creative and giving. We surely made some memories as well as some memorable art. Horse showing season is winding down with the last show next weekend. Marina has been having a fabulous year and looks so beautiful and graceful on her horse. Getting ready to launch a new website which will feature all the beautiful art from my gallery. Trying to ride the wave of the technology wave. Now to dive into the rush to the Christmas season! However, before I begin that I will be spending 5 days in New York city with my husband to celebrate our 20th anniversary! Hooray for us. Toodles for now. Vicki
